Well it's all over for the Lady Jackets. They were beaten Friday night by the #2 seed Spartanburg Vikings 56-53. It was the first game they had lost at home in two years. Everyone thought the Jackets might go all they way with those seniors who for the most part had played together since rec. ball but it was not to be. A key injury at point guard left them struggling a bit but they played with a lot of heart. Once down by 12 points in the third period , they came back and took the lead and looked invincible. But as the seconds ticked off the clock a last ditch effort 3 pointer to tie failed and it was all over. The look of their faces said it all. More to come.
