everybody loves santa

I shot a Christmas parade Sunday, it was a cool sunny day with a light breeze, it was good to be outside. This little girl and her family were waving at Santa as he road by in the firetruck. It was the last picture I took of the day. When you get this many people together for a public event, odd and or funny things tend to happen, here are a few. I saw a rescue dog throw up while walking in the parade and the kids thought it was the coolest thing. They couldn't wait to see if someone in the marching band stepped in it, a lady asked me if I was going to take a picture of it. I saw a boy throw a rock at someone when he didn't get any candy from them. I saw two guys dressed as Superman, one african-american and one white guy, kind of a dual crime fighting threat I guess. A guy practicing karate, I called him the Christmas Ninja. Ricky Bobby was there. Ah yes, Christmas in the south. I can't wait until this coming weekend.... the Valley Parade....it's the best one.
