end of an era

Today the Tommy Bowden era has ended at Clemson. I think the complaints of the fans finally got loud enough and Bowden stepped down, they said it was a mutal agreement..coaching is a tough sport for sure. Today at work, many of the Clemson faithful cheered the decision and they said get rid of offensive coordinator Rob Spence too. I took my son to Fan Appreciation Day at Clemson a few years ago and met Rob Spence, he signed my sons favorite hat and we talked for a while. The thing that struck with me about Mr. Spence was his humble nature towards my son and I. We talked football and he asked my son he he wanted to play for Clemson one day. So, for all the Clemson fans who hated his play calling remember, he's a great guy. He taught me something in that brief talk that day. I wish you well Mr. Spence. Here is the Bible verse he wrote on my sons hat.....Isaiah 40-31 Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
