Most high school gyms are lit like a cave, a dark cave. These guys play at a local church because their gym has not yet been completed. To be honest, I understand why spending the extra money to light a gym properly is not a high priority. At least the light in this area of the gym was fairly even ( it varies from place to place on the court). So you just have to get in there and make the best of it because it's not going to change.
