mike: Hi I'm a photographer based in S.C. I'm currently working on several long term photo projects in my community. I live with my wife, two kids and a stinky chocolate lab named Coco. Over the years I've been lucky enough to win a few awards from the S.C. Press Association but the best award is to have one of your pictures hanging on someones refrigerator. what's in the bag

The photos on this blog have been shot with a variety of camera gear over the years. Everything for a nikon d70 to a 5d canon with all sorts of lenses. The longer I photograph the less gear I want. I just purchased the fuji to change my way of shooting. I will only take the nikon if there is a specific need. Traveling light these days.

As of today my gear is a Fuij XE-2, 18-55 zoom and a 23f1.4
