thanks jack

i was photographing along the banks of lake junaluska, n.c. when i met a man named jack. he seemed to be a nice fellow, maybe in his fifties, he saw me shooting and asked if i'd like to ride along in his kayak while he fished, i'll give you the 50 cent tour. i said cool, only i didnt have a dime in a my pocket but i thought i'd only mention that after the tour and i figured i could out run him if i had to anyway. so off we went, and what a beautiful morning it was , temps. in the 50's, a big change from the 100 degree days back home. he told me many things about the lake and his family and we even talked about michael jackson of all things. as jack paddled me around we saw the guy in the top photo, he is some kind of professor somewhere, he hollered out to jack, i just caught a 4 pound bass, jack smiled, i see him here all the time. i cant wait to get back to the mountains i miss them already and thanks jack i'll send you a print in the mail.
