My daughter had State gymnastics competition this weekend in Dawsonville, Ga. We went up a day early because she was scheduled for early Sunday morning and I wanted to look around a little. I could have photographed this area for years, beautiful area, north Ga. Most of the time I like to eat at a local place, it's always fun, and the food is always good. We went to this place called "Dogs and Hogs" (when I saw the sign I said that's the place) and it was great. And the band (top photo) was awesome, I'm a sucker for street music. The middle photo is of Dawsonville Pool Room, made famous by the fans of Nascar Legend Bill Elliott. And the bottom photo was a guy we got boiled p-nuts from. As I wolfed down BBQ chicken and sweet tea while listening to the band, I thought, it don't get any better than this.
