Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow

Well here's this last photo of the the bug. It's my wife's first car, a vintage 1974 VW Beetle. Since about 92 it had been yard art and was definitely one of a kind with its backyard paint job. I wonder how many near misses the car had with her as the first time driver, I guess the world will never know. I remember all to well our trip to Carowinds in this old car many years ago. Now this old jalopy is off on a new adventure, a full restoration I'm told. Good luck, I was actually scared it would break in half when they winched it up on the trailer. The man that bought the ole bug said " She just needs a little love." I guess all my hippie friends would agree, What the world needs now is love sweet love. Peace.
