We were sitting outside the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta Ga. waiting on Al Sharpton to come out and make a statement about James Brown's funeral arrangements. This photo is of Don Schanche writer for the Associated Press as he listens to his recorder and works on his story. We listened to all the interviews that he had recorded earlier down on Broad Street at the James Brown Statue, quite interesting stuff. Then they invited all the media into the chapel and told us that Sharpton would be in to make a statement soon. Once we were in there, he headed for his limo but we were watching the door and everyone ran outside to get a photo or a comment, he wasn't talking. Actually all kinda funny.
