I had the honor of meeting Doc Severinsen backstage at the Bell Auditorium in Augusta Ga. and what a class act he is. He has boundless energy and plays as well as ever. This shot was made from backstage off to the side (stage right). The camera was a Nikon D1H with a 80-200 f2.8 lens on a monopod and a high iso setting.
